Designed for heavy-duty securement, the Grade 70 5/16-inch by 16-foot chain assembly provides high-performance strength and long-lasting quality. Made with heat-treated carbon alloy steel, the chain assembly is 100% proof-tested to twice its original working load limit for a total strength capacity of 4,700 lbs. The chain is coated with a zinc-plated gold chromate finish for protection against rust and corrosion, ensuring durability in harsh conditions. The attached alloy steel clevis hooks, also heat-treated for improved strength, provide a solid connection to anchor points. This Grade 70 chain assembly meets NACM standards and complies with the specifications of the Department of Transportation and CCMTA for tie-down use. Each chain includes properly marked links and aluminum tags stamped with working load limit information.
