It features a powerful 2-watt FRS radio capable of covering up to 250,000 sq ft, housed in a die-cast aluminum frame for drop resistance and durability. The radio operates on a replaceable 1800 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a 12-hour battery life based on an average talk time operating cycle of 90/5/5. It is compatible with both FRS and GMRS radios, IP5X waterproof and dustproof, and PC programmable to set privacy codes easily. The BR10 supports the K1 connector for BA headset series for hands-free use, includes a large push-to-talk button, monitor mode, on/off volume control, channel selectors, TX/RX LED indicator, low battery alert, auto scan, and battery save mode.
