The Whirlpool® 12,000 BTU window-mounted air conditioner is designed to quickly cool and dehumidify rooms up to 550 square feet, with a dehumidification capacity of up to 2.6 pints per hour. It features a 5.9-ft. LCDI power cord with a 3-prong grounded plug compatible with a 115V electrical outlet. The unit includes an on-board electronic control panel with a digital display and a remote control with LCD display for convenient operation from across the room. It offers three cooling speeds plus an Auto option, along with Eco mode for reduced energy consumption and Sleep mode that gradually increases the room temperature after activation. A programmable 24-hour on/off timer allows for customizable cooling schedules, and the unit automatically restarts after power failures. Airflow is directed by 8-way directional air louvers, and maintenance is simplified with a removable and washable air filter featuring a 'Clean Filter' alert. The package includes an easy-to-install window mounting kit suitable for windows with widths from 26" minimum to 36" maximum and a minimum height of 16".
