Armor Shield® desiccant packs contain drying agents such as clay and silica gel that adsorb water and decrease moisture in an enclosed space. These desiccants are available in sewn cloth or puncture-resistant Tyvek® packaging, with sizes ranging from 0.5 grams to 2,500 grams. When sized and used properly, Armor Shield® desiccant effectively reduces and maintains the humidity level within packaging, crates, or containers for an extended period. The packs are easy to apply by inserting into packaging or hanging in large containers, and they do not change size, shape, or texture even at full capacity. They provide safe rust prevention without oils, solvents, or harsh chemicals, offering mess-free rust prevention with no need for cleaning, wiping, or degreasing metal. The outer packaging options include sewn cloth or Tyvek® for puncture resistance, and the desiccant can be used alone or paired with other Armor VCI products for extended protection, making it ideal for long-term storage or export.
