Dry Coat™ is a water-based rust preventative designed to be applied to the surface of metal to prevent rust for up to one year of indoor storage. It is non-hazardous, dries-to-touch to form a clear, protective coating that repels water and other corrosion-causing substances, and is neither sticky nor tacky. The product can be applied via dip, spray, or flow coat methods and dries quickly to a clear protective layer. This coating is easily removed using a mild detergent or metal cleaning solution and does not interfere with advanced processing such as stamping, grinding, cutting, welding, or burnishing. Additionally, it will not harm most elastomers or plastics.
