The Werner® D6228-2 fiberglass two-section 28-foot extension ladder features non-conductive rails, making it suitable for working near electricity, and has a duty rating of 300 pounds for durability and long-lasting use. It incorporates the exclusive Alflo® rung joint for Twist-Proof® performance, Traction-Tred® D rungs that are slip-resistant, and interlocking side rails. The ladder includes Werner® dual action feet designed for use on hard or penetrable surfaces and swivel easily. The base and fly sections separate easily to allow using the base section as a single ladder. Additionally, the Werner® durable rail shield bracket and shoe protect the bottom of the rail, and the fly section rails are pre-pierced at the top for easy field installation of accessories. It features a smooth operating pulley with polypropylene rope, external guides at the top of the base section to securely interlock rails, a combination rail shield bracket and shoe with Shu-Lok® and a slip-resistant pad, molded rung braces on the bottom step for increased durability, and mar-resistant molded end caps. The ladder is 28 feet in length with a fiberglass construction, meets all applicable industry standards, and carries a warranty as specified by Werner®.
