The VinylStatB provides an excellent ESD-safe workstation with light cushioning for component safety and operator comfort. It is a three-layer mat consisting of a conductive metalized fleece sandwiched between a solid, dissipative top surface and a foam base layer. This ESD mat with cushioning protects dropped or mishandled items and is ideal for general-use ESD applications. The VinylStatB has a surface resistivity of 10^7 to 10^8 ohms, is available in blue or gray, and comes in 50 ft rolls or an assortment of pre-cut lengths. It meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 per ANSI/ESD STM4.1. Soldering on the mat is not recommended.
