The CS1010 push and clinch grounding snaps feature a pronged 3/8" (10mm) socket designed for use with ESD matting such as multi-layer rubber or vinyl mats. These snaps provide a strong contact for table matting and are used to connect ESD ground cables, such as the CP2522 common point ground cable, to mats. The bendable pronged teeth allow for easy installation by pressing the snap onto the mat until the prongs puncture through and are visible underneath, then bending the prongs flush against the underside for a secure fit. The prongs can also be bent up to remove and reuse the snap. Grounding snaps serve to connect ground cords to work surface static safe mats or ESD floor mats, which have conductive materials embedded to collect and eliminate static electricity.
