VinylStatB provides an excellent ESD-safe workstation surface with light cushioning to protect components and enhance operator comfort. It is a three-layer mat consisting of a conductive metalized fleece sandwiched between a solid, dissipative top surface and a foam base layer. The ESD mat with cushioning is designed to protect dropped or mishandled items and is made of vinyl, making it suitable for general use in ESD applications, though soldering is not recommended on this surface. The mat features a surface resistivity in the range of 10^7 to 10^8 ohms, is available in blue or gray colors, and comes in 50 ft rolls or an assortment of pre-cut lengths. It meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 per ANSI/ESD STM4.1, ensuring compliance with established ESD control standards.
