VinylStatB provides an excellent ESD-safe workstation mat with light cushioning for component safety and operator comfort. The mat is constructed as a three-layer assembly, featuring a conductive metalized fleece layer sandwiched between a solid, dissipative top surface and a foam base layer. It offers surface resistivity in the range of 10^7 to 10^8 ohms and is suitable for general use in ESD applications, though soldering on the mat is not recommended. The mat is available in blue or gray and can be purchased in 50 ft rolls or an assortment of pre-cut lengths. It meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards as specified by ANSI/ESD STM4.1.
