3M™ Extreme Sealing Tape 4411W± is a white, 0.040 in (1.0 mm) thick tape designed for quick and clean sealing, offering excellent conformability and instant adhesion without cure time, mess, or oozing associated with liquid sealants. It adheres with pressure to metals and plastics and is used to cover edges, rivets, joints, splices, screw heads, holes, and gaps, simplifying the sealing process while eliminating the need for caulking equipment. The tape features a rugged TPO backing that provides resistance to sun, rain, extreme temperatures, vibration, and thermal expansion or contraction, making it suitable for outdoor industrial applications such as cargo trailer rail seals, HVAC enclosures, and roof sealing. This single-coated tape seals over existing seams, splices, or overlaps, effectively sealing out water, dust, dirt, and other environmental factors.
