3M™ Extreme Sealing Tape 4412W± is a white tape with a thickness of 0.080 in (2.0 mm), designed for quick and clean sealing applications. It offers excellent conformability and instant adhesion, eliminating cure time, mess, and oozing typically associated with liquid sealants. The tape adheres with pressure to metals and plastics, effectively covering edges, rivets, joints, splices, screw heads, holes, and gaps, thus simplifying the sealing process without the need for caulking equipment. It features a durable, flexible TPO backing that conforms over fasteners and irregular surfaces. The tape provides rugged resistance to sun, rain, extreme temperatures, solvents, vibration, and thermal expansion or contraction. Suitable for outdoor and industrial sealing applications such as cargo trailer rail seals, HVAC enclosures, and roof sealing, it also supports sustainability with a linerless design that eliminates liner waste.
