The CS1020 push and clinch snaps feature a pronged 3/8" (10mm) stud designed for easy installation on ESD matting such as multi-layer rubber or vinyl mats, facilitating connection of ESD ground cables like the CP2524 common point ground cable to the mat. The snap provides a strong contact for table matting with bendable pronged teeth that allow removal and reuse. Grounding snaps are used to connect a ground cord to work surface static safe mats or ESD floor mats, which contain conductive materials embedded within to help eliminate static electricity. To install, position the snap on the desired location, press so the prongs puncture the mat and are visible underneath, then bend the prongs flush against the underside of the mat; prongs can be bent up to remove the snap.
