3M™ Extreme Sealing Tape 4411B± is a black, 0.040 in (1.0 mm) thick tape designed for quick and clean sealing with excellent conformability and instant adhesion, eliminating cure time, mess, and oozing associated with liquid sealants. It is made to stick with pressure to metals and plastics to cover edges, rivets, joints, splices, screw heads, holes, and gaps, simplifying the sealing process and removing the need for caulking equipment. The tape features a rugged TPO backing that is flexible and conforms over fasteners, seams, joints, holes, and gaps while delivering resistance to sun, rain, extreme temperatures, solvents, vibration, and thermal expansion or contraction. Engineered for outdoor and industrial applications such as cargo trailer rail seals, HVAC enclosures, and roof sealing, it effectively seals out water, dust, dirt, and other environmental factors. Additionally, the tape utilizes a linerless design that supports sustainability by eliminating liner waste typical of other sealing solutions.
