The FSM2424B blue ESD field service mat is constructed from a rugged, three-layer embossed PVC material designed to provide a static-free work area for handling sensitive devices. The kit includes the WB1637 blue fabric wrist strap coil cord set and the CP1518BD ground cord with a Bulldog clip, which easily connects to objects for grounding in the field. The blue mat measures 24" x 24" and features two 10mm male snaps and two 8" x 12" pockets, with bound edges for durability. The outer layer is resistant to punctures and tears, while a buried conductive layer ensures reliable decay of static charges. The mat is lightweight, easy to fold for storage, and meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI ESD-S20.20. It has a surface resistivity greater than 1 x 10⁶ ohms, a static decay time from 5kV to 0V of 0.01 seconds, weighs 12.6 oz, with a thickness of 0.018 inches, tensile strength of 220, tear strength of 6, and burst strength of 350 psi.
