The FSM2424R ESD field service mat is made from a rugged, three-layer embossed PVC material and provides service personnel with a static-free work area for handling sensitive devices. The kit includes the WB1637 blue fabric wrist strap coil cord set and the CP1518DB ground cord with a bulldog clip, which easily connects to objects to facilitate grounding in the field. The red mat measures 24" x 24", features two 10mm male snaps, two 8" x 12" pockets, and bound edges for durability. The outer layer is resistant to punctures and tears, while a buried conductive layer ensures reliable decay of static charges. The mat is lightweight and easy to fold for storage, meeting or exceeding the requirements of ANSI ESD-S20.20. Its surface resistivity is greater than 1 x 10⁶ ohms with a static decay time from 5kV to 0V of 0.01 seconds. The mat weighs 12.6 oz, has a thickness of 0.018", tensile strength of 220, tear strength of 6, and burst strength of 350 psi. It has two pockets, two 10 mm male snaps, and is red in color.
