The 2210KG4-AM neonatal/pediatric scale is designed for use in the NICU, nursery, delivery room, and pediatric practices, providing critical high accuracy for the smallest patients with a resolution of 1 gram up to 10 kilograms and 5 grams from 10,001 to 20,000 grams. It features an antimicrobial body, tray, handles, and keypad with a smooth-edged, four-sided removable tray measuring 26-1/2" x 15-1/4" x 2-3/4" (674 mm x 388 mm x 71 mm) supported by a patent-pending mounting system that prevents breakage and facilitates easy cleaning. The product footprint measures 26-1/2" x 17-3/4" x 6" (674 mm x 450 mm x 153 mm) and it weighs 29 lb (13.5 kg). Included with the scale are a built-in measuring tape from 0" to 24" (0 cm to 60 cm), a 5-1/4" x 1-1/8" (133 mm x 35 mm) backlit display with four levels of brightness, EMR connectivity via USB, and optional Pelstar® wireless technology. The scale is powered by six D batteries with an ADPT30 adapter included, and portability is enhanced by heavy-duty handles with an optional 2210CART rolling cart available. The digital interface supports functions such as zero, tare, pre-tare, reweigh, recall, auto zero, auto off, motion detection allowing accurate weighing despite patient movement, hold/release, weight hold for 30 to 60 seconds, and breast milk intake monitoring. The scale carries a two-year limited warranty and is eligible for a two-year extended warranty through Scalesurance.
