The lid is made of fiber glass reinforced composite, which is temperature resistant and can withstand extreme cold from -60°F to extreme heat of 250°F constant and 300°F+ intermittent use. This material offers increased strength for a high weight capacity per individual container. The impermeable surface is resistant to most mild acids, detergents, cutting oils, and alkaline solutions. The standard fiber glass formulation is approved for UL 94 HB flammability rating.
