The Fluke® 1577 True RMS Megohmmeter/Insulation Resistance Tester and Multimeter combines a digital insulation tester with a fully featured True RMS digital multimeter in a single, compact, handheld unit, providing maximum versatility for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. It is rugged, reliable, and easy to use, suited for tasks involving motors, generators, cables, or switchgear. The device features True RMS measurements, a large backlit display, an insulation test range from 0.1 MΩ to 600 MΩ with multiple test voltages at 500 V and 1000 V, live circuit detection that prevents insulation testing when voltage exceeds 30 V, and auto-discharge of capacitive voltage. It measures AC/DC voltage, DC millivolts, AC/DC milliamps, resistance, and continuity, and includes an auto power off function to save battery life. The instrument meets CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V measurement category standards.
