The exterior finish is chrome-plated, and the interior is chrome-plated with a clear coat or painted finish where needed for full coverage. Each socket features a 6-point opening, providing an exact fit and maximum contact for hex fasteners, and radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to the flat sides rather than the corners. Secure drive tool engagement is ensured by detent grooves and beveled edges that provide a smooth and secure connection.
