This 49-piece 3/8 in. drive socket set includes 19 pieces of shallow 12-point metric sockets ranging from 6 to 24 mm and 19 pieces of deep 12-point metric sockets covering the same sizes. The kit also features a 1-piece 8-inch 3/8 in. drive 90-tooth quick-release ratchet, a magnetic hex bit holder, three extension bars measuring 1, 3, and 6 inches, a universal joint, as well as socket and accessory rails and a tray for organized storage. The sockets have large, stamped markings permanently impressed into the material by a roll-stamp die, ensuring readability along the curved surface. The exterior is chrome-plated and the interior is chrome-plated and supplemented with a clear coat or painted finish where necessary for full coverage. The 12-point socket openings provide more access positions for various fasteners, including hex, double hex, and square, while radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to the flat sides rather than the corners. Additionally, detent grooves and beveled edges ensure secure engagement with the drive tool.
