This kit includes shallow and deep 6-point sockets designed to provide an exact fit and maximum contact for hex fasteners. The sockets feature fully stepped shoulders and a narrowed diameter that extends to the base on small, deep-length sizes, allowing greater reach into tight, recessed areas. Both the exterior and interior have chrome plating; the exterior is highly corrosion-resistant with a mirror finish, while the interior has supplementary clear coat or painted finishes for full coverage. Large, stamped markings are permanently impressed with a roll-stamp die and are clearly visible due to their extra-deep outline. The kit also contains socket rails with twist-to-lock clips that hold sockets securely and can be repositioned anywhere along the rails. Included in the package are 50 pieces of 1/4 inch drive shallow and deep 6-point sockets ranging from 5/32 to 9/16 inch and 4 to 15 mm, 68 pieces of 3/8 inch drive shallow and deep 6-point sockets ranging from 1/4 to 1 inch and 6 to 24 mm, and 96 pieces of 1/2 inch drive shallow and deep 6-point sockets ranging from 3/8 to 1-1/2 inch and 10 to 38 mm.
