The kit features a concentrated clamping point with fixed points that apply direct pressure to clamped surfaces, securing small parts and allowing access to tight spaces where a swivel pad will not fit. It includes a pull-to-release lever that enables easy setting, releasing, and repositioning of the clamp with one hand and greater control than a traditional pinch-style lever. The large adjustment knob is knurled and round to provide grip for making adjustments even when wearing gloves or handling slippery conditions. A tensioning through-hole allows extra leverage and fine-tuning of clamping force by inserting a screwdriver or hex key to create a T-handle. The clamp's jaws apply clamping force relying on three high-strength rivets made from tough 4135 chromium molybdenum steel, forming a 4-point mechanical structure built to withstand high shear forces. The strong jaws are crafted from 6140 chromium vanadium steel, an alloy known for toughness, machinability, and corrosion resistance.
