The clamp features a concentrated clamping point with fixed points that apply direct pressure to clamped surfaces, securing small parts and allowing access to tight spaces where a swivel pad will not fit. It includes a pull-to-release lever for easy one-handed setting, releasing, and repositioning with more control than a traditional pinch-style lever. The large, knurled, round adjustment knob provides a secure grip for making adjustments even when wearing gloves or handling slippery objects. A tensioning through-hole enables extra leverage and fine-tuning of clamping force by inserting a screwdriver or hex key to create a T-handle. The clamp's three main rivets, which form the 4-point mechanical structure of the clamp, are made from 4135 chromium molybdenum steel to withstand high shear forces, ensuring strong clamping force at the jaws. The jaws are constructed from 6140 chromium vanadium steel, an alloy known for toughness, machinability, and corrosion resistance. All individual parts including the jaw, handle, lever, and crossbar are shot-peened before assembly to create smooth, consistent surfaces, with a durable nickel-plated finish applied to protect against corrosion.
