A tensioning through-hole enables extra leverage and fine-tuning of clamping force by inserting a screwdriver or hex key to create a T-handle. The clamp's clamping force relies on three high-strength rivets made from 4135 chromium molybdenum steel, forming a 4-point mechanical structure resistant to high shear forces. The jaws are crafted from 4130 chromium molybdenum steel, an alloy known for toughness, machinability, and corrosion resistance.
