This kit includes 9-piece 3/8 inch drive shallow 6-point inch sockets in sizes 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, and 3/4 inch, as well as 9-piece 3/8 inch drive deep 6-point inch sockets in the same sizes. The sockets feature large, stamped markings permanently impressed into the material by a roll-stamp die, optimized for readability along the socket’s curved surface. They have fully stepped shoulders with a narrowed diameter that stretches to the socket base on smaller sizes, allowing greater reach into tight, recessed areas. The exterior is chrome-plated, and the interior is chrome-plated with a clear coat or painted finish where necessary for full coverage. The 6-point socket opening ensures an exact fit and maximum contact for hex fasteners, with radiused corners that prevent fastener round-off by applying force to the flat sides rather than corners. Secure drive tool engagement is ensured by detent grooves and beveled edges for a smooth, secure connection. The sockets meet a high torque strength standard of at least 1.2 times the ANSI standard for proof torque, verified by a single-cycle test applying torque until the specified value without failure or permanent deformation is reached. Included socket rails feature a patented twist-to-lock design to securely hold sockets, keyhole slots for mounting to walls or workbenches, and the ability to combine multiple rails with trays and other accessories.
