The Fluke 3000 FC DMM and Fluke Connect wireless modules are independently tested for safe use in CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V environments, designed to reduce arc flash risk by allowing users to place tools near live electrical panels while keeping their body at a safe distance. The system includes remote modules such as voltage modules, current clamps, flexible current loops, and thermometers, which connect to the 3000 FC meter so measurements can be read from up to 100 feet away. The meter displays readings from itself plus up to three wireless modules simultaneously on the same screen. The kit communicates with iOS devices (iPhone 4s and later) and Android devices (version 4.3 and up) using the Fluke Connect mobile app, enabling wireless connectivity among phone, PC, and Fluke Connect-enabled test tools. Users can share their view remotely through ShareLive video calls, capture multiple measurements simultaneously, and isolate intermittent events or signal fluctuations with a log function. The system supports recording multiple sessions with user-set intervals from one second up to one hour, saving data to PC in .csv format and capturing up to 65,000 sets of min/max/avg readings, each time stamped for detailed tracking. This allows the user to avoid awkward measurement positions and repeatedly check measurements without interruption. Data and results can be sent to colleagues for quick assessment of abnormal system responses and to maintain asset performance, tracking, and reliability programs.
