The kit includes a True RMS electronics logging digital multimeter with TrendCapture (model 289), FlukeView Forms software with cable, an alligator clip set (AC175), and a thermocouple. The multimeter provides accurate measurements on complex signals or nonlinear loads and is compatible with Fluke® Connect (requires IR 3000 FC infrared connector). It features TrendCapture for quick and graphical display of logged data sessions, with zoom on trend allowing up to 14x zoom for detailed analysis. It has a selectable AC filter for steadier readings during rapid or noisy input changes, adjustable recording and auto hold thresholds that specify a percentage change to start a new event, and a large white 50,000-count backlit 1/4 VGA display. The logging function includes expanded memory to store up to 15,000 recorded events and allows multiple logging sessions before PC download is needed. The multimeter offers a two terminal 50 ohm range with 1 milliohm resolution and 10 mA source current for measuring motor winding or contact resistance, a low pass filter for accurate voltage and frequency measurements on adjustable speed motor drives and noisy equipment, and a LOZ low impedance measurement function for simultaneous voltage and continuity testing. It includes on-board help screens, a real-time clock for automatic time stamping, relative mode to compensate for test lead resistance in low ohm or capacitance measurements, measures up to 10 A (20 A for 30 seconds), has a 100 mF capacitance range, and peak capture ability to record transients as fast as 250 µs. FlukeView Forms software enables documentation, storage, and analysis of individual or series measurements, with conversion into professional documents.
