The Fluke 87V Max/E2 combo kit includes the 87V Max True-RMS industrial heavy-duty digital multimeter with temperature measurement and several accessories. The 87V Max is designed to operate in extreme conditions, featuring an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, an extended operating temperature range of -15 °C to +55 °C (5 °F to 131 °F, and -40 °C for up to 20 minutes), and 95% humidity resistance. It is tested to withstand a 4 m (13 ft) drop with the holster, which is removable and reversible for added protection. The multimeter can measure up to 1000 V, up to 10 A (20 A for 30 seconds), AC and DC, and provides True-RMS voltage and current for accurate measurements on non-linear signals. It includes a 10,000 F capacitance range, frequency measurement up to 200 kHz, and an extended AC voltage bandwidth of 15 Hz to 20 kHz. The unit features a low-pass filter for accurate voltage and frequency measurements on adjustable speed motor drives and other electrically noisy equipment, a built-in thermometer, and min/max/average recording plus a 150-second peak min-max function to capture variations automatically. It also supports resistance, continuity, and diode testing, a large display with 20,000 count high-resolution digits, two levels of bright white backlight including backlit keypad buttons, relative mode to remove test lead resistance from low ohms measurements, and withstands hazardous 8,000 volt spikes caused by load switching.
