Product Details
The kit features a unique function for accurate voltage and frequency measurements on adjustable speed motor drives and other electrically noisy equipment, providing true-RMS AC voltage and current measurements for accuracy on non-linear signals. It includes a built-in thermometer allowing temperature readings without separate instruments, with a 4-1/2 digit mode offering 20,000 counts for precise measurements. It measures up to 1000 VAC and DC, with current measurement up to 10 A (20 A for 30 seconds), and a 10,000 F capacitance range suitable for components and motor capacitors. Frequency measurement is available up to 200 kHz with percentage duty cycle, while peak capture records transients as fast as 250 µs. Additional features include backlit keypad buttons, a selectable filter for accurate voltage and frequency measurements on motor drives, 0.05% DC accuracy, 6000 counts with 3-3/4 digits display, resistance, continuity and diode testing, min/max-average recording with alerts, relative mode to eliminate test lead interference from low ohms measurements, auto and manual ranging, touch hold for stable readings in noisy environments, analog bargraph for fast-changing or unstable signals, input alert providing audible warnings for incorrect input jack use, and an improved selectable sleep mode for extended battery life. The unit includes an access door for quick battery changes without breaking the calibration seal, featuring a "classic" design with a removable holster and built-in test lead and probe storage. The I400 Current Clamp included in the package has a current range from 1 A to 400 A AC, a frequency range from 5 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB), a division ratio of 1000:1, and is safety rated CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V. It provides a 1 mA/amp output for easy reading on the meter, allows accurate current readings without circuit interruption, and incorporates a soft, non-slippery overmold handle to prevent accidental contact with live wiring. The kit is backed by warranty terms ensuring reliability and quality.
