The Amprobe PRM-6 phase sequence and motor rotation tester is designed to test the motor rotation of 3-phase systems and verify 3-phase receptacle wiring and phase sequencing using test leads. It also features wireless motor rotation detection, which senses motor rotation direction without the use of test leads, useful for fast-running motors or when the drive shaft is not visible. The device is durably constructed with a rubber outer casing, offering 3 ft. (1 m) drop-proof protection, and includes a bright, backlit LCD display. It is rated for CAT IV 600 V and conforms to EN 61010 and EN 61557 standards, making it suitable for commercial and industrial electrical systems up to 700 V phase-to-phase voltage. The PRM-6 provides 3-phase wire sequence indication, error displays such as missing phase or one input connected to neutral or PE, and can indicate motor rotation of disconnected motors when the shaft is spun by hand or other means.
