It features a SolSensor that provides irradiance, module temperature, and array tilt data to the PV model and measures and displays I-V curves up to 1500A and 30A, including on high-efficiency modules. The advanced built-in PV model provides immediate PV performance checking, with a sweep-to-sweep delay of nine seconds capable of measuring 3.5MW in less than one hour, while performing uninterrupted measurements even in hot environments. The device automates data management, analysis, and reporting, includes a database of more than 70,000 modules with automatic updates, and offers a wireless interface for faster setup, a safer work environment, and freedom of movement during PV troubleshooting. It is CAT III 1500V rated for added user safety. The 283 FC/PV solar digital multimeter and A283 FC wireless current clamp set measures both AC and DC current up to 60A for safely troubleshooting individual strings or modules with greater accuracy, featuring a thin jaw design for easy access to combiner boxes and tight spaces. It captures AC/DC volts, AC/DC mV, AC/DC VA, continuity, resistance, capacitance, AC/DC amps, and Hz, with a bright backlit LCD screen and illuminated keypad for easier use in direct and low-light conditions. Visual and audio polarity indicators with on/off function help prevent accidental module wiring issues, and a user-defined limit gauge supports quick go/no-go troubleshooting decisions.
