Product Details
The Fluke® PVA-1500HE2 Solmetric High Efficiency PV Analyzer I-V Curve Tracer is an advanced tool designed for immediate PV performance checking and reliable assessment of solar module and array health. It features high throughput I-V curve tracing with an intuitive user interface for easy navigation and real-time analysis to quickly identify potential issues. The analyzer measures and displays I-V characteristics of PV strings or modules via a capacitive load up to 1500 V and 30 A, generating P-V curves, Isc, Voc, Imp, Vmp, Pmax, fill factor, and performance factor. Its wireless interfaces enable faster setup and safer operation, supporting accurate measurements for all string types and uninterrupted operation in hot environments. The device uses a sweep-to-sweep delay of 9 seconds to measure up to 3.5 MW in under one hour, and includes the SolSensor which provides irradiance, module temperature, and array tilt data. It predicts I-V curve shape under operating conditions with spectral response correction of the silicon photodiode sensor for different PV technologies. Two external thermocouple inputs allow measurement of module backside temperatures. The Data Analysis Tool (DAT) compiles key PV parameters, flags non-conforming strings, provides statistical overviews, and automates data management, analysis, and reporting, supported by a database of over 70,000 modules with automatic updates and in-the-field firmware update capability. The analyzer is suited for commissioning, operations, maintenance, auditing, and troubleshooting of PV systems. Included in the package is the Fluke® 393 FC Solar Clamp Meter designed for technicians working in DC environments up to 1500 V, featuring a thin jaw for improved accessibility. The product carries manufacturer warranty terms as specified by Fluke.
