The kit includes TEKTON T-handle hex keys featuring a comfortable, versatile handle design with a large, contoured shape to fit the hand for comfortable spinning and applying torque from various positions. The hex key geometry is precisely manufactured on the large end of the applicable range to ensure a tight fit with fasteners, and tolerances are controlled both point-to-point and side-to-side for dimensional accuracy and consistency. The keys have slightly chamfered edges, except for the smallest sizes of 2 mm and 5/64 in., and a smooth top face to optimize fastener engagement. The molded handle combined with the steel key enhances torque application comfort. All keys have a corrosion-resistant manganese phosphate finish, tested by wiping with isopropyl alcohol and submerging in a 1% saltwater solution for 45 hours, followed by rinsing and air drying. Sizes are clearly marked using high-visibility laser marking, stamped marking, and painted inset marking that cannot wear off, except for the smallest sizes. The kit includes an easy-to-use custom T-handle stand made of 18 gauge steel with slots matched to the hex geometry for quick size identification.
