The Fluke® 87V TLPV1 Solar Tools Kit combines the 87V industrial digital multimeter with a set of TLPV1 MC4 test leads and various accessories, designed for professionals requiring trusted measurement performance and safe, robust test accessories. It is suited for troubleshooting and commissioning solar, EV, and industrial systems up to 1000 VDC, ensuring every measurement is safe and precise. The 87V multimeter provides true-rms AC voltage and current measurements for accurate readings on non-linear signals, measuring up to 1000 VAC and DC, 10 A (20 A for 30 seconds), and 200 kHz frequency. It features resolution and accuracy to troubleshoot motor drives, plant automation, power distribution, and electromechanical equipment efficiently, including support for accurate VFD measurements via a low-pass filter. The analog bar graph allows observation of fast-changing or unstable signals, and peak capture can record intermittents as fast as 250 µs. Special shielding blocks high-frequency and high-energy noise generated by large drive systems. Relative mode removes test lead resistance for improved low-resistance measurement accuracy. Additional features include a hold function to retain readings on display after probe removal, audible input alert warnings if test leads are placed incorrectly, a large digit display with bright two-level backlight for easier reading in low light, a removable holster to hold the test probe during testing, and an easy-access door for fast battery changes without breaking the calibration seal.
