The Fluke 3000 FC Digital Multimeter (DMM) and Fluke Connect wireless modules are designed to reduce arc flash risk, having been independently tested for safe use in CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V environments. This system allows users to keep tools away from live electrical panels by de-energizing the cabinet, wearing PPE, opening the panel, and connecting remote modules such as voltage modules, current clamps, flexible current loops, or thermometers. Readings can then be viewed on the 3000 FC from a safe distance, supporting simultaneous display of the meter measurement plus up to three wireless modules on one screen. The 3000 FC communicates with iOS (4S and later) and Android (v4.3 and up) devices via the Fluke Connect mobile app. It supports AC and DC voltage measurements to 1000V and AC/DC current measurements with 0.01mA resolution. The 1AC-II voltage probe incorporates Voltbeat technology and continuous self-test, with a tip that glows and beeps upon fault detection, maintaining a safety rating of CAT IV 1000V. Wireless technology enables connectivity between phone, PC, and Fluke Connect-enabled test tools, and the ShareLive video calls feature allows team members to see measurements remotely. The device supports logging with user-set intervals ranging from one second to one hour, capable of capturing up to 65,000 sets of minimum, maximum, and average readings over single or multiple logging sessions. Data can be saved in .csv format to PC for asset performance tracking, reliability programs, and remote analysis. The meter enables isolating intermittent events, recording signal fluctuations without being on-site, working with fewer interruptions by recording multiple sessions before downloading, and facilitates rapid communication of abnormal system responses to managers and coworkers for assessment.
