The 1537 Insulation Resistance Tester is engineered for frontline troubleshooting on factory floors or solar installation fields, featuring user-selectable test voltages of 250V, 500V, 1000V, and 2500V suitable for both industrial and solar applications. It measures insulation resistance up to 500 GΩ and can automatically calculate polarization index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) to minimize environmental influences. The tester supports up to 1300 measurements at 2500V or 6500 measurements at 250V, enhancing productivity, and offers AC/DC voltage and resistance measurements with a short circuit current up to 5 mA for faster, more stable results. Its ramp test mode applies a linearly increasing test voltage of 100 V/s to help identify difficult fault conditions. Users can set labels, adjust test duration, and store results for a tailored experience, with data downloadable via PC software. It has a CAT IV 600V rating and a built-in voltage alarm for safety.
