The kit includes an 8-piece 1/4 inch drive shallow external star (E-Star) socket set with sizes E4, E5, E6, E7, E8, E10, E11, and E12, made from 50BV30 steel hardened to 40-47 HRC for strength and durability. The sockets feature a shallow external star geometry with an internal 6-lobe design for a high-torque fit that resists slipping, and they are protected against corrosion with chrome plating on the exterior and a clear coat on the interior. Each socket has large, permanently impressed markings created by a roll-stamp die, optimized to be readable along the curved surface. Included with the sockets is an 8-inch gray socket rail equipped with twist-to-lock clips that securely hold the sockets and can be repositioned anywhere along the rail.
