The Amprobe ACD-14 Plus clamp meter functions as both an HVAC and electrical multimeter with features including microamps measurement, capacitance to 3000 µF, frequency to 40 kHz, and temperature measurement via the included K-type thermocouple probe. It has dual displays that show amps and volts simultaneously, allowing for voltage drop measurements under load. The clamp meter’s thin jaws can access tight areas while handling conductors up to 1 inch (25 mm) in diameter. It measures AC and DC voltage up to 600 V, AC current to 600 A, resistance to 40 MΩ, and includes a continuity buzzer, diode test, hold and max reading functions. Additional features include autoranging, auto power off, low battery indication, and a rubber over-molded case for shock absorption. The package includes one set of test leads, one installed battery, a soft carrying pouch, a user manual, and a type-K thermocouple with banana plug.
