The kit includes broad, flat jaws designed for sure handling of thin parts and sheet stock, featuring large contact faces that hold workpieces more securely than fine-tipped pliers and provide extra control and leverage for pulling, positioning, or bending. The straight, 90-degree edges along the sides and tip allow precise bends and crisp corners, with the jaw base relieved by a small gap of 0.3 mm ± 0.1 mm to ensure the tips close tightly for grasping the thinnest parts. The jaws incorporate fine crosscut teeth oriented at 120 degrees to each other (60 degrees to each side of the jaw centerline), with serrations cut in two passes to form fine, regularly spaced diamond-shaped teeth that create uniform contact across the full jaw length, enabling even grasping, pulling, and twisting in any direction. A recessed coil spring is integrated between the wide-profile handles, gently assisting the opening action with a relaxed opening angle of 137 degrees and coiled twice to balance the force required for opening and closing, improving control and reducing hand fatigue. The handles have a wide, flat profile with slim vinyl grips for a nonslip, cushioned surface without bulk. The tool is constructed from a custom-engineered alloy.
