The Amprobe AMP-220 is a professional clamp meter designed for a full range of AC/DC current, AC/DC voltage, and frequency measurements for basic electrical troubleshooting. It measures AC and DC current up to 600A and AC and DC voltage up to 600 V with true-RMS sensing for accurate readings in noisy electrical environments. The AMP-TIP function provides precise low AC current measurements from 0 to 60 A, while a low pass filter enables measurement of current and voltage on variable frequency drives. Additional features include capacitance measurement, resistance and continuity testing with a beeper, diode test, data hold, and relative zero for quick analysis. It is rated for safety at CAT III 600 V, comes with a large backlit display for easy viewing, accommodates conductors up to 1.37" (35 mm), maximizes battery life with auto power off and a low battery indicator. The kit includes test leads, two AAA batteries (installed), a user manual, and a carrying case.
