The Amprobe® AMP-320 is a versatile clamp meter designed for professional electricians and technicians, offering true RMS sensing technology to accurately measure AC/DC current up to 600 A, AC/DC voltage up to 600 V, resistance, continuity, frequency, capacitance, and temperature ranging from -40° to 752°F (-40° to 400°C). It includes the ability to measure DC microamps output for testing flame sensor operation on gas appliances, tests 3-phase sequence and motor rotation to ensure proper motor connection, and monitors inrush current during motor start-up. The AMP-320 features a large, backlit LCD display for ease of use in dimly lit areas, a low pass filter for accurate voltage and current measurement on variable frequency drives, a peak hold function to capture inrush currents and transient signals, and a data hold function for convenient data retrieval. Safety is enhanced by a built-in non-contact voltage detector that alerts users to the presence of live AC voltage without contact.
