The TempcO finned strip heater is designed for both forced and natural convection air heating, making it suitable for mounting in ducts or at the bottom of cabinet-type ovens. Its construction features a helically wound resistance coil situated within a specially designed ceramic insulator, with the resistance coil mechanically connected to a screw terminal to ensure a reliable connection. The heater assembly is housed in stainless steel rectangular tubing, with high purity magnesium oxide filling all voids to enhance thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. Additionally, nickel plated steel fins are attached to the rectangular tubing, engineered to maximize surface contact for effective heat dissipation into the finned cross sections, facilitating rapid heat transfer to the surrounding air. The kit includes the finned strip heater and all necessary installation components.
