The Tempco finned strip heater is designed for both forced and natural convection air heating applications, featuring a helically wound resistance coil encased in a specially designed ceramic insulator, which is mechanically connected to a screw terminal for a secure connection. The heater assembly is housed in stainless steel rectangular tubing, with all remaining voids filled with high purity magnesium oxide to enhance thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. Nickel plated steel fins are attached to the rectangular tubing, engineered to maximize surface contact for effective heat dissipation into the finned cross sections, ensuring rapid heat transfer to the air. This kit includes the finned strip heater and all necessary mounting hardware. The heater is compliant with UL and CSA standards and comes with a warranty of 1 year. Dimensions of the heater are 36 inches in length, 2 inches in width, and 2.5 inches in height, with a wattage rating of 1000 watts and a voltage rating of 120 volts.
