The Tempco finned strip heater is designed for both forced and natural convection air heating applications, such as being mounted in a duct or at the bottom of cabinet-type ovens. Its construction features a helically wound resistance coil that is housed within a specially designed ceramic insulator and is mechanically connected to a screw terminal for secure connectivity. The heater assembly is encased in stainless steel rectangular tubing, with all voids filled with high purity magnesium oxide, which enhances thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. Additionally, nickel-plated steel fins are attached to the rectangular tubing, designed for optimal surface contact to ensure effective heat dissipation into the finned cross sections, resulting in efficient heat transfer to the surrounding air. The kit includes the finned heater assembly and its dimensions and specifications will vary based on specific model options.
