The Tempco finned strip heater is engineered for both forced (mounted in a duct) and natural convection air heating (mounted at the bottom of cabinet-type ovens). Its construction features a helically wound resistance coil situated within a specially designed ceramic insulator, with the coil mechanically connected to a screw terminal for a reliable connection. The heater assembly is enclosed in stainless steel rectangular tubing, while all remaining voids are filled with high purity magnesium oxide to enhance thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. This model includes nickel plated steel fins that are optimized for maximum surface contact, facilitating effective heat dissipation into the finned cross sections and ensuring rapid heat transfer to the air.
