The Tempco finned strip heater is engineered for both forced (mounted in a duct) and natural convection air heating (mounted at the bottom of cabinet-type ovens). Its design features a helically wound resistance coil enclosed in a specially designed ceramic insulator, with the resistance coil mechanically connected to a screw terminal for a secure connection. The heater assembly is housed in stainless steel rectangular tubing, and all voids are filled with high purity magnesium oxide, enhancing thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. Additionally, nickel plated steel fins are attached to the rectangular tubing, specially designed to maximize surface contact for effective heat dissipation into the finned cross sections, facilitating rapid heat transfer to the air. The kit includes specific attributes and options that enhance its performance, and it complies with relevant certifications and specifications.
