This Tempco finned strip heater is designed for both forced and natural convection air heating applications, suitable for mounting in a duct or at the bottom of cabinet type ovens. The heater features a helically wound resistance coil housed in a specially designed ceramic insulator, mechanically connected to a screw terminal for secure connection. The assembly is enclosed in stainless steel rectangular tubing, with all voids filled with high purity magnesium oxide to enhance thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. Nickel plated steel fins are affixed to the rectangular tubing, engineered for optimal surface contact to ensure effective heat dissipation into the finned cross sections, allowing for rapid heat transfer to the air.
