This screw plug immersion heater consists of a tubular element welded or brazed into a threaded screw plug that can be inserted into a threaded opening in a tank wall or through a mating full or half coupling. It features steel construction and is designed for fluid heat transfer media including tar, high to low viscosity petroleum oils, asphalt, wax, paraffin, degreasing solvents, alcohol, molten salt, and other solutions that are not corrosive to steel. The heater can handle temperatures up to 750 degrees F. The package includes the immersion heater and relevant installation components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
