The Baldor-Realiance motor is a robust 250 HP, 1785 RPM, 3-phase motor designed for 60 Hz operation with a 449 T frame and TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) construction. It features heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, roller bearings suitable for heavy belted loads (not suitable for coupled loads), and ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings, along with low-loss electrical grade lamination steel for enhanced efficiency. This motor is backed by a three-year warranty and is typically used in applications requiring continuous or frequent duty. The Super-E motors are specifically engineered to conserve energy over extended periods and come equipped with Class F insulation and a 1.15 service factor. They are inverter rated per NEMA MG1 part 31.4.4.2, making them suitable for variable torque applications and capable of operating within a 20:1 constant torque speed range when paired with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives.
